At Koa Yoga Products, our mission, logo, and commitment to giving back are deeply rooted in the story of Koa, an American Pit Bull-Boxer mix. Just hours away from being sent to a shelter, Koa was rescued from a Northern suburb of Illinois in 2011. Since then, Koa has profoundly impacted our lives, inspiring us to create a brand dedicated to supporting animal rescue efforts.
Our passion for helping animals and our dedication to enriching human lives through yoga and fitness are at the heart of everything we do. Koa's journey fuels our purpose, driving us to make a difference—one product at a time.
On behalf of Koa’s family, it is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Koa crossed the Rainbow Bridge after a sudden and brief illness. Out of compassion and deep sadness, Koa was peacefully euthanized on February 2, 2024, surrounded by his family and favorite stuffed animals. The pain of losing Koa is a poignant reminder of the immense joy he brought into our lives.
As we move forward, Koa Yoga Products will continue our commitment to supporting animal welfare causes. Inspired by our experience during Koa's illness, we aim to explore ways to assist families in need of financial support for emergency care for their beloved pets. This will be a work in progress, but with the support of the Koa community, we believe we can make a meaningful impact.
